Inner Matanzas hotels

Matanzas province is an extensive region of wetlands, meadows and dream beaches. In addition to Varadero resort and Ciénaga de Zapata –with its Bay of Pigs-, there are other areas with attractive ecologic trails, connected to the rivers that flow in the land, Canímar and Yumurí rivers amongst them. The first of these two holds Canimao hotel, very frequented by tourists due to its facilities for wildlife observation.
