Florida Hotel
The Florida Hotel is one of the nicest in Old Havana. Built in 1836 as a huge mansion, it was turned into a hotel in 1885 and that colonial ambiance oozes throughout in its large central courtyard, surrounded by soaring stone columns connected by high arches, complemented with gorgeous wrought-iron ceiling lamps. Rooms are spacious, decorated with a mix of imitation and real antique furnishings, and facilities include a lovely bar-cafe.
The Florida Hotel sits in the famous Obispo boulevard in Havana´s Historic Center, within few steps from the Bay´s entrance. It is located nearby Plaza de Armas and La Bodeguita del Medio restaurant.
